How would that help?  If I understand correctly, this garbage is being
sent back to the original poster not via the mailing list.  The software
sending it is just plain broken;  it should never be replying to anyone
other than the Sender: (where there is a Sender:).  And Sender: should
be the list owner.

By the way, here's a regex to catch mail from mailing lists, mailers, and
all other sorts of critters (from procmailrc(5)):
