People have mentioned it before, but I don't know if it has ever been
"fixed".  Send a report to perlbug@perl.com.  It is definitely perl, not
MacPerl.

That is also a perl5.004, not MacPerl, thing.  Read the CGI chapter of my
book (available within 2-3 weeks in bookstores, available now online in
HTML at the URL below) for more information; I am too tired to print it
here.  Dang cold.
