[MacPerl] printing Styled text?

Hi folks,

I've been looking around but can't figure out the answer to this: is there
any way for a MacPerl script to output styled text, or at least send text
in a font of my choice to a window? I can imagine there might be a way to
do it sending an AppleEvent to a styled-text editor, or more perhaps to a
browser.
